Dental Implants in LondonYour implant journey

In your first visit to the surgery in London you will be invited for a one-hour appointment with Dr Joe Bhat. In this appointment, you can discuss your concerns and specific needs. This appointment may include x-rays, written reports and a suggested treatment plan.

You’ll also receive a cost estimate for your surgery. If you have been referred to us by your usual dentist, a complete treatment plan will be forwarded to your usual dentist for their records.

As some cases are more complex than others, you may need to have a CT scan of your jaw to accurately plan how the dental implants will be fitted.

Thanks to developments in dental technology, treatment times have drastically reduced to just over two months compared to six months previously. In some cases, we may even be able to provide ‘same day’ implants.

The surgery

In London, dental implants require a minor surgery to be fitted. In this surgery, a small hole needs to be created in your jawbone. This allows the implant screw to be fitted firmly in place. Local anaesthetic is used to numb the pain, and sedation can be given.

Over time the bone will heal and integrate with the screw. This creates an extremely durable and stable base for whichever tooth replacement option you need to get back on with your normal lifestyle and enjoy the foods you love. You could be back to normal much faster than you imagined.
