Cancellation or Failed Appointment Policy
At Moor Park Specialist Dental Centre we understand that appointments may have to be cancelled or rearranged due to unforeseen circumstances.
If you wish to change or cancel your appointment, we do require 48 hours notice. However, we do allow one short notice cancellation (less than 24 hours), but if this reoccurs we may ask for a payment in advance for the appointment or charge a cancellation fee. Appointments may not be rearranged if this fee is not paid.
It is the decision of your dentist to charge or ask for a fee in advance for all appointments that you have cancelled at short notice or have failed to attend. Your dentist will decide on the fee incurred according to the length of your appointment or the treatment due to be carried out.
We make every effort to see emergencies on the same day, at least within 24 hrs. Patients who have a genuine dental emergency out of normal hours should phone the practice and follow the instructions on the recorded message.
